Privacy notice

Data fiduciary: N53 Techworks LLP, 19th Floor, Tower-B, Alphathum, Sector-90, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201305, India.

Launchpad is a marketplace for job-linked training programmes. This notice explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how long we keep it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

What we collect, and why

WhatWhy we need it

Whether you own a two-wheeler, whether you hold a driving licenceTwo programmes make these a hard requirement of the role.
Languages you speakSome roles state a local-language requirement.
Your CV, if you upload onePassed to the training provider if you proceed. Optional, an application without one is complete.
The consent wording you agreed to, and whenSo that what you agreed to on the day can always be established.
Your IP address and browser user agent at the moment of consentRecorded with the consent, as evidence of it, and for rate limiting.

We do not collect financial information. We do not ask about your income, your family's income, your credit history, or your ability to borrow, because we have no use for any of it.

Who we share it with

We share your application with the training provider whose programme you applied to, and through that provider, with the prospective employer they put you forward to. This is the core of what Launchpad does, and it is the reason your application exists. Before we share anything, a member of staff sees a list of exactly which fields will be transmitted, and that list is recorded against your application.

We do not share your data with lenders, financing companies, or credit intermediaries of any kind. Not for a fee, not for an introduction, not as an aggregate. Launchpad has no commercial relationship with any such company and no field in this system records one.

We use two processors: Supabase, which hosts the database and file storage, and Resend, which delivers our email. Neither sells data and neither receives your data for their own purposes. We use no analytics vendor that receives personal information.

We disclose data to a public authority only where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Each period below is enforced by a job that runs every day, not by anyone remembering. When a period ends the data is deleted, or, where a record has to survive as evidence of what you were shown and charged, everything identifying you is cleared from it and only the reference, the figures and the programme details remain.

WhatHow long
A CV you uploaded but never attached to an application24 hours.
Your CV180 days from the date you applied. 365 days if your application reached the point where it was shared with a training provider. Then the file is deleted and the deletion is logged.
An interest registration, where you asked to be told when seats open90 days. Then the row is deleted.
Your application record3 years from the date you applied. Then your name, email, phone, date of birth, city, state and languages are cleared from it.
A data request you made to us, once we have actioned it3 years. Then your email address is cleared and only the kind of request, the dates and what we did remain, as proof we answered you.
The audit log, a record of what was done to your data and by whom. It holds no name, phone or email.7 years.

Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use https://launchpad.peoplecap.in/data-request. We verify the request by sending a link to the email address on the application before we act on it, because acting on an unverified deletion request would itself be a breach.

You may withdraw your consent at any time through the same route. Withdrawing consent stops future processing; it does not undo a disclosure already made to a training provider, and we will tell you plainly if that has already happened.

When you apply, the exact wording you agreed to is stored with your application, together with a SHA-256 hash of that wording and the time you agreed. The wording is versioned: when we change it, the old version is retained. It is always possible to establish what you agreed to on the day you applied.

Marketing consent is separate, optional, never pre-ticked, and never a condition of applying.

If something goes wrong

If personal data held by us is compromised, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and every affected person, describing what happened, what data was involved, and what we are doing about it. We will not wait for certainty about the scope before telling you that something has happened.

Version history

VersionEffective fromWhat changed
121 August 2026First published.
221 August 2026Employment wording revised. Launchpad no longer states that employment is not guaranteed; it states that hiring decisions are made by the employer, that it takes no part in them, and that what is committed on the hiring side is a matter between the candidate, the training provider and the employer.
321 August 2026Retention stated in full. The table now names every class of data held, including staged uploads, interest registrations and data requests, and states that each period is closed by a daily job rather than on request. No period was lengthened; three were stated for the first time.

Every change to this page creates a new stored version. The old one is retained, so it is always possible to establish what a candidate agreed to on the day they applied.
